Danielle Kelly, C.E.o., Lead Designer & Artist

Danielle Kelly Art's (DKA) lead designer, Danielle Kelly, has been designing and creating art for well over 10 years! Starting her career as a retail associate for Banana Republic, she quickly worked her way up to Assistant Visual Director. After 5 years she left Banana to become the Lead Visual Manager for the Benetton Inc Stores in the Georgetown and Pentagon areas of D.C.  After graduating from Howard University with her B.B.A, she found the need to spread her wings outside of the world of retail.  Danielle began to assist with the seasonal window arrangements and everyday decor needs of local restaurant, salons and retail shop owners in D.C and Boston as a side gig.  A trade she inherited from her mother, who spent 32 years in the world of Visual Arts and Merchandising.  It was during this time her love for interiors truly blossomed.

In 2015 she ventured into the interior world with, “Sexy Salvaged,” her first solo company that focused on using artistic inspired techniques, such as foiling, and combining them with faux finishes to rehabbed and updated furniture. While the name didn’t stick, for obvious reasons, the artistry did.  In 2017 she decided to pursue her passion for faux decorative painting, art and design full time and launched Danielle Kelly Art.  Her work now decorates residences and commercial interiors from Boston to Raleigh.  And she doesn't plan on stopping there!
